THE PEOPLE THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD
BIBLE READING:
EPHESIANS 6:10-18
JAMES 5:7
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32 (NKJV).
We live in a time when God has promised to release the fullness of His glory on all the world. We have come to the time of the final move of God, and in this season, the Lord is set to reveal His glory to all the world, to rake into His kingdom, the final harvest before the close of the age.
Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you-- The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. …"And it shall come to pass afterwards That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days. "And I will show wonders in the heavens and the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord— Joel 2:23, 28-31.
The purpose of this great outpouring is to unleash the power of God in the world, like never before; to channel a great flood of people into the kingdom of God from the kingdom of darkness. This power, however, will only be carried and channelled by people who pay the price and make themselves vessels worthy of this coming glory. It is those who are in an intimate relationship with God, who truly know their God, who will be the recipients of this power. They are the ones who will do exploits.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit and grace to serve in Your end-time army. Help me to function in Your power and to do great things in Your name as we expect Your return, in Jesus' name, Amen.
